Terms & Conditions

By downloading, installing, or using the Bydot mobile application (“App,” “Bydot”), published by Dream Devs (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download or use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should only use the App with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, including for any decisions about starting a new exercise routine.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Dream Devs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Dream Devs.

Bydot uses your device’s camera together with on-device AI to automatically detect your body position and count repetitions for supported exercises (currently push-ups and squats). You may also enter basic profile details — such as your name, age, gender, height, weight, and fitness target and goal — to personalize your experience. All processing and storage happens locally on your device — the App does not require an account and works fully offline. See our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled.

Bydot is provided for general fitness and informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified physician before beginning any exercise program, particularly if you have any pre-existing medical condition, injury, or health concern.

Physical exercise carries an inherent risk of injury. By using the App, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating in physical activity with full knowledge of the risks involved, and you assume all such risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dream Devs is not liable for any injury, harm, or damage resulting from your use of the App or your participation in any exercise.

Rep-counting accuracy can be affected by factors such as lighting, camera angle, clothing, and how much of your body is visible in frame. Counts and any related statistics are estimates and should not be relied upon as precise or medical-grade measurements.

You agree that you will not:

• Use the App while driving, operating machinery, or in any unsafe environment;
• Use the App in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the App;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its underlying systems.

The App, including its design, features, underlying technology, and the Bydot name and logo, are owned by Dream Devs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding except as necessary to use the App as intended.

Bydot does not require an account. Any profile details you enter (such as your name, age, gender, height, weight, and fitness target and goal), your selected app language, and any workout data the App generates (reps, streaks, progress) are stored locally on your device. Dream Devs has no access to, and cannot recover, this data. We are not responsible for any loss of local data resulting from uninstalling the App, resetting or replacing your device, or clearing app data.

The App is distributed through the Google Play Store and, where available, the Apple App Store. Your download and use of the App may also be subject to the applicable terms of service of that platform provider.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that rep counts will always be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dream Devs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including any injury sustained while exercising.

We may suspend or discontinue the App, or any part of it, at any time without notice. You may stop using the App at any time simply by uninstalling it.

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.

Bydot is available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, French, and German. These Terms are written and provided in English. Where the App or these Terms are made available in another language, that translation is provided for your convenience only, and the English version will govern in the event of any conflict or inconsistency.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
